Zaynab is a Psychology graduate with a background in education. She is enthusiastic about
creating social change which is coupled with her interest in interfaith work. Through her role, she aims to inspire young people to speak up and encourage them to stand up for themselves and their communities, as well as for others. Zaynab manages the Alan Senitt Upstanders Leadership Programme which brings together students from 10 schools of different faiths and backgrounds, to create their own social action projects. This year Zaynab has asserted herself in the mainstream conversation surrounding Islamophobia. She continues to identify key partners and stakeholders within the Muslim community to collaborate with to further elevate the project. As a newly appointed Project Manager, Zaynab aims to develop the project further to reach more young people across the country.
