Jodie is a passionate and proud Jewish woman. As Assistant Manager of the Stand Up! project, she oversees the Stand Up! project and helps it go from strength to strength. Jodie has nearly a decade of experience in informal education, leading local youth groups and facilitating summer camps and trips abroad for young people. She has worked in the university sphere, enriching Jewish students’ life on campus, as well as promoting anti-racism work and fighting antisemitism on university campuses across the UK. As a History graduate, Jodie enjoys exploring the roots of racial hatred with students, and empowering them to become Upstanders and Ambassadors for a fair and inclusive society. Jodie manages the Alan Senitt Upstanders Leadership Programme which brings together students from 9 schools of different faiths and backgrounds, to create their own social action projects.
