Recruiting External Facilitators


Are you an ambitious social activist who is passionate about interfaith work? Do you want to empower young people? Are you concerned by

anti-Muslim prejudice?

You must be motivated and driven to create social change in society. The candidate will have an understanding of anti-Muslim hatred and discrimination and how this affects young people in the UK today. This growing project has already reached over 20,000 students in over 50 schools since January 2017 with overwhelmingly positive feedback from teachers and students. You will be delivering informal educational workshops in secondary schools across London.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering educational sessions in secondary schools 

  • Extensive training on the topic of discrimination, anti-Muslim hatred and antisemitism ​

Desirable skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a real passion for working with young people

  • Experience in informal education and facilitation

  • A good grasp of Islam and issues of discrimination affecting the Muslim community in the UK

  • Eagerness to work in an interfaith Muslim and Jewish partnership project, formally employed by Maccabi GB

  • Preferably, a full clean UK driving license and have access to a car
